First friendly test for Parma. The ducal team, newly promoted to Serie A thanks to the first place achieved last season in Serie B, will face Lugano at the Stadio Comunale in Cornaredo. An interesting test for the team coached by Fabio Pecchia, even if, being the first friendly, it will be useful more to put fuel in the players’ legs than for purely tactical issues (which will not be lacking).
The match between Lugano and Parma is scheduled for Saturday 13 July with kick-off scheduled for 19:00.
Parma’s friendlies will be exclusively on Sportitalia. The Italian sports channel has acquired the TV rights for the summer tests of the newly promoted team in Serie A. The match against Lugano will therefore be visible in free-to-air on SportItalia (channel 60 on digital terrestrial) or on the official website in streaming.

Without some internationals and with a transfer market that has yet to get going, Fabio Pecchia will face Lugano with a formation similar to the one that took to the field in the last season in Serie B (which nevertheless led to promotion to Serie A). Many big names will be missing such as Dennis Man, Valentin Mihaila and Yordan Osorio (who have obtained extra holidays for commitments at Euro 2024 and Copa America 2024), in addition to the Spanish talent Bernabé who will participate in the Olympics.
Parma (4-2-3-1): Chichizola; Delprato, Balogh, Circati, Valeri; Hernani, Sohm; Partipilo, Camara, Begic; Bonny.
