This weekend, Fiumicino offers a series of free events for all ages and tastes
Fiumicino, 12 July 2024 – An unmissable event in Fiumicino: Saturday 13 July at Parco Leonardo, the a meeting open to all organized by the EIDOS IN RETE amateur astronomers group. From 9pm, an amateur astronomer will guide participants in observing the skyoffering a unique experience. Other events scheduled in Fiumicino this weekend
Also on Saturday 13th, in Torrimpietra, the “5th edition of the Daniele Giuli Guerra Scholarship” will be held at the Torre in Pietra Castle. The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. A guided tour of the castle led by Prof. Sandro Polo will follow at 5:15 p.m. At 6:00 p.m. presentation of the book “Le bonifiche nell’agro romano e Pontino” by Paolo Pelliccia. The event was organized by the Pro Loco of Torrimpietra.
Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 4th Pizza a Portafoglio Festival from 6pm to midnight in Largo Marinai d’Italia. A wide selection of pizza a portafoglio prepared by some of the best chefs – pizza makers of Lazio, as well as music and games.
Sunday, July 14, 11 am free guided tour of the Saxophone Museum which at 9:30 pm will host an original musical event: “Saxappeal”; a concert-story that explores the connection between sax and eros in cinema, with anecdotes, curiosities and films. Admission is free until all seats are taken and is part of the “Jazz & Movies” festival.
