A new look for the Grom 125, one of Honda’s minibikes along with the retro Dax and Monkey models. It’s a fun little motorcycle designed for short-distance pleasure, aimed at young people: the word “Grom” comes from US slang and identifies young enthusiasts of board sports such as surfing and skateboarding.
With one litre it does more than 60 km
The base has not changed, it is a small vehicle powered by a very simple 125 cm³ air-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine, with single overhead camshaft, two valves and a five-speed gearbox. The performance is very calm but so is the consumption, with 1 liter of petrol you can travel a whopping 66.7 km.
Among the many accessories there are also side cases
The chassis is also essential, built around a single-beam steel frame with a square section: small 12” wheels, a 31 mm Ø upside-down fork at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear, on the left side of the H-shaped boxed steel swingarm.
It also has ABS
The brakes are both discs, one 220 mm Ø in front with a two-piston caliper and one 190 mm Ø in the back with a single-piston caliper, controlled by a single-channel ABS that therefore only works on the front wheel. It is a truly affordable bike for everyone: it weighs just 103 kg with a full tank of petrol, 6 litres, and has a seat 761 mm from the ground.
Some details revised
It was already witty and fun before, and it has become even more so with the restyling that the 2025 version has undergone. New tank covers featuring taut lines and wide flares for the knees, new side panels and a new tip. Two colors available, both quite lively: Candy Blue and Pearl White.

For those who want an even more aggressive characterization, the Grom can be customized with a choice of original Honda accessories, including hand guards, a windshield, side saddle bags, a rear luggage rack and a central saddle bag.
