After several months of production and some clues from those involved, we finally have the first preview of one of the most anticipated films of 2024: Hellboy: The Crooked Manthe new adaptation of the work created by Mike Mignola.
Through an exclusive article in Entertainment Weekly, we have been able to see the trailer for this film. Although it is not having the same impact as previous versions of the character, it is emerging as the most faithful adaptation to the original comic of the same name.
Jack Kesy will be the actor who plays Anung Un Rama, following Ron Perlman and David Harbour. As can be seen in the trailer, his interpretation and infernal appearance are very accurate. However, it is important to note that the budget for this film is considerably lower than that of previous installments, giving it a more modest appearance, similar to a fan-made production rather than a major blockbuster.
Despite this, it seems that this film will be a much more intimate and faithful adaptation of the original work, something that many will appreciate, especially the most die-hard fans. Although it has a smaller budget, it is anticipated that it will be the best received by the public. Hellboy: The Crooked Man will hit theaters on August 14, 2024.
