The horror film saga A peaceful placestarted in 2018 by John Krasinski, has a good chance of continuing to expand after the release of its sequel, A quiet place 2 (2020) and its prequel A quiet place: Day 1 (2024) just arrived in theaters.
The new installment of A peaceful place has stopped counting on John Krasinski as director, in favor of Michael Sarnoski, and has renewed his cast to tell us a new story, now starring Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn and a nice one gato.
A quiet place: Day 1 It transports us to the moment when New York was invaded by alien creatures with keen hearing eager to wipe out humanity.
Despite its prequel nature, Michael Sarnoski does not rule out the possibility that this horror film will receive a new installment. But in order to read their statements without spoilers You will have to have seen the movie, so read the following lines with caution.
A quiet place: Day 2 is a possibility
During an interview with the media The Hollywood Reporterthe filmmaker was asked if he imagined a future for the characters of Eric (Joseph Quinn) y Frodo (the cat) after getting off the ferry.
Michael Sarnoski said that “definitely a good portion of those people probably ended up on the island that we see in the second part of A peaceful place. I think that It is very likely that they are there and that we will see them again.”.
As to whether that means a sequel will be made A quiet place: Day 1the director added: “I think they did an amazing job. And I think that Paramount I would be very happy to see where they ended up. I don’t think there are super specific plans. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened. So this is a very vague unofficial preview of the sequel.”
