Eric Kripke reveals his interest in a meeting between Padalecki and Ackles to close The Boys
Although nothing is confirmed yet, Kripke wants to make sure Padalecki’s appearance makes sense in the plot. This potential addition would not only bring Padalecki into a universe full of twisted superheroes, but it could also lead to epic reunions with Jensen Ackles (assuming Soldier Boy returns) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (if Kessler survives this season). In a recent interview with EW, Kripke shared his excitement about this possibility.
The expectation of an epic meeting
“The value of that is breaking the internet. So we’ll see if it fits into the story. But yeah, it’s occurred to me that putting those two in a scene together would destroy a lot of the world, and that’s appealing,” Kripke shared. Although there is no concrete role for Padalecki yet, things seem to be lining up. “We both have seen that it seems that our schedules will coincide.

USES!” Kripke explains that Sister Sage, being a “tactical genius,” will have Homelander’s attention, making him even more dangerous. As to FirecrackerKripke mentions that this gun lover is to the right of even VNN’s Cameron Coleman (Matthew Edison) and that she has very similar traits to Kristi Noem, Donald Trump’s possible choice for vice president.
A social criticism
“It is a very curious power. Many superhero worlds have that character. While the majority tend to be very thin white men, we wanted a black woman raised in a low socioeconomic area, so no one listens to her. It’s both commentary and satire that literally the smartest person in the world who could cure all of society’s ills simply can’t get anyone to listen to her. So she becomes a bitter misanthrope,” Kripke commented on Sister Sage.
On the other hand, Kripke describes Firecracker as “crazier than anyone else.” He represents both members of conspiracy movements and far-right media. “That character has an amazing story that connects her to some of the characters in our world, and it was interesting to introduce one of those types of characters who carry guns and say ‘I shot my puppies.’”
