2025 will be full of big releases, but one of the most anticipated is, without a doubt, the new Jurassic World movie. The next installment of the successful Universal franchise will leave aside the already known protagonists to bring in totally new blood, although there is someone who would love to return in a different way.
While speaking at a Fan Expo Boston panel, the actress Bryce Dallas Howardwho played Claire Dearing in the trilogy of Jurassic Worldcommented that she would undoubtedly return to the franchise, although this time behind the cameras as a director.
“Of course I would love to do it, but, that might not be right. You know what I mean? Jurassic World, the idea of Jurassic World is very big, and I played a very specific character, and now I can take that hat off.” and put on the role of director. But I think it’s important that new blood comes in the legacy of this incredible science fiction idea that Michael Crichton came up with.”
While she would be delighted to return as director, she is also aware that it may be a saga too important for her. Even so, the actress would be willing to get behind the cameras to plan an installment set in this world full of Cretaceous creatures.
The next movie Jurassic World will star Scarlett Johansson and will tell the story of three adults and three teenagers who find themselves stranded on an island lost in the ocean. This new installment will hit theaters around the world on July 2, 2025.
