Luis de la Fuente praised Fabian Ruiz's performance when he successfully scored a goal and an assist in the match vs Croatia in the first match of the group stage Euro 2024 Saturday (15/6). The coach also regretted that his team did not receive enough appreciation from the public.
“If his name wasn't Fabian, you would all be talking about him endlessly. Fabian Ruiz has everything that every footballer needs to have, he also knows how to do everything well at every opportunity,” said De la Fuente as reported by Goal.

Spain started their journey at Euro 2024 perfectly, in the first match of the group stage, they successfully beat Croatia with a landslide score of 3-0. Alvaro Morata, Dani Carvajal and Fabian Ruiz managed to break through Dominik Livakovic's goal. Especially for Ruiz, the PSG player was also successful in providing assists.
The victory over Croatia means La Roja now sits at the top of Group B with three points. In their next match, they will challenge Italy, Friday (21/6) WIB.
