With the Triumph TF 250-X the English company surprised everyone. Few expected an English motocross specialist, a bike that – above all – proved to be very fast right from the start. The “guarantee stamp” on this bike is that of Ricky Carmichael (who we interviewed) and this says a lot about the project, but Ivan Cervantes, Clement Desalle and Ivan Tedesco also contributed to the development of the TF 250-X.
Triumph's new motocross boasts a weight/power ratio at the top of the category, and a package made up of segment-leading technical specifications and components. The performance is of the highest level, starting from the engine performance, up to the cycling and electronic behavior. This was confirmed by the prestigious results achieved by the Triumph Racing Factory Teams in the MXGP and AMA Super Motocross World Championships, with several podiums, hole shots and Top 10 placings during the debut season. It finally arrives in dealerships, with an innovative strategy
The distribution strategy is innovative and is based on the synergy between the physical channel (dealerships), offline, and the exclusive online purchasing platform “Triumph First – Digital Motorcycles Stores”, launched by Triumph in Italy during 2020 and which it channels approximately 10% of sales contracts on the road range.
First of all, Triumph Motorcycles has selected 9 dealerships in Italy that are part of its official network, based on specific skill and knowledge requirements of the Offroad segment, to distribute and sell the TF 250-X. Each Offroad Dealership will take care not only of the sale but also of ensuring buyers all the necessary after-sales services, such as obviously the supply of spare parts and technical assistance.
