Museum De Fundatie error in controversial former director's top salary: “borders on conscious lying”

Museum De Fundatie largely runs on public money. The museum receives annual subsidies from the province (1.3 million euros), the municipality (1 million) and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (more than 300,000 euros). Because De Fundatie receives public money, it must also justify what it does with the money. The Standards for Top Incomes Act (WNT) applies to high salaries, in which the museum is obliged to state how much directors earn.
