In Valencia the Iwata manufacturer is not smiling
Honda and Yamaha have an unlimited number of tests available this year in order to close the gap with Ducati. Yamaha has been involved in a three-day test in Valencia since Monday, the circuit where the last GP of the season will take place, but things are not going in the right direction.
Quartararo and Rins are champing at the bit
The weather once again acts as an obstacle. As happened in the days following the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello, where rain was the protagonist, water also made its appearance in the Valencian Community, thus once again limiting the planned work programme. Obviously the two riders Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins are on site and the Spaniard said on social media yesterday: “We are not lucky at all. Today we were only able to complete a couple of laps before it started to rain.” However, test driver Cal Crutchlow is not present, recovering from some physical problems. Team manager Maio Meregalli admitted that the planned work should focus mainly on the M1's performance in braking and corner entry.
