What Microsoft showed off with their Xbox Games Showcase 2024 this morning was truly brilliant. Coming with a lineup of cool games coming from all directions, including first-party and third-party studios who are again being pushed to increase the marketability of their Game Pass service, there are several titles that are really worth talking about. One of them comes from a French studio built by former talent from Ubisoft – Sandfall Interactive. The result is a surprising turn-based RPG game.
Coming with stunning visuals and a turn-based RPG game that looks dynamic and charming, Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive officially announced Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. You will play the role of Expeditioners who try to stop an entity called Paintress who is synonymous with death.
You will play Gustave, Maelle, and the other members to achieve missions in this beautiful world. The turn-based RPG system that he is implementing will also come with real-time dodge, parry and counter actions, complete with attempts to continue attack combos via a unique rhythm system.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 itself is planned to be released in 2025, still without a definite date, for Playstation 5, Xbox Series, and of course – PC. What do you think? Looks interesting?
