In Enschede, 0 homes were added last year (and that should actually have been 1000)

In the first years after expressing this ambition, things are not easy in Enschede, 1Twente calculates. While a net of 800 homes were added in 2022, last year there were 0. That does not mean that no construction took place. On the contrary: in 2023, 316 new-build homes will have been completed and another 188 living spaces have been added (for example through roomization). But 469 houses were also demolished, such as in Oost-Boswinkel, and another 35 independent living situations ended.
