Fans of the Silent Hllll game can be a little happy because Konami has not abandoned one of its best franchises to become a machine pachinko just. And it seems that in the near future they will share various new details regarding games from one of the iconic horror franchises.
Through the developer's tweet on Twitter, the developer will broadcast Silent Hill Transmission on May 30. It is hoped that Konami will share updates on the development of its newest games, as well as information regarding the third film adaptation.
The power of the Silent Hill franchise returns?
Since the cancellation of Silent Hill, which was worked on by Hideo Kojima (PT) in 2014, it seems as if it has left a huge hole in the game franchise released in 1999. A decade has passed without a “proper” game, Konami seems to intend to win the hearts of fans again with several projects currently in progress.
When this article was written, Konami was known to have made two games in collaboration with other developers, namely the remake of Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team and Silent Hill F which was handled by NeoBards Entertainment.
This may also be reminiscent of Silent Hill: The Short Message which was released for free on PlayStation 5 last January, which could be said to be the opening dish for its return. However, the response itself was less than positive, and it was even claimed that it did not provide a unique horror feel like its predecessors.
Then the latest film adaptation itself was directed by Cristophe Gans, who was also the director of the first film adaptation in 2006.
So, what do you think brott thinks about this? Are you also enthusiastically waiting for Konami's next iconic horror game? Come on, just share your opinion in the comments column.
