Ponza, 15 May 2024 – Notice of public competition for the coverage of n. 1 (one) mooring position to be included in the single group of moorings on the Pontine islands of Ventotene and Ponza. You can apply until May 26th (click here to read the announcement).
Those who, on the expiry date of the deadline established by this announcement for the submission of applications for admission, possess the following requirements can participate in the competition: a. age not less than 18 (eighteen) years and not more than 45 (forty-five) years (the maximum age limit is exceeded at midnight on the day of the forty-fifth birthday);
b. Italian citizenship or citizenship of another European Union State, provided that the candidate has adequate knowledge of the Italian language demonstrated with the B1 level Common European Framework of Reference for Languages certification issued by an accredited body;
c. healthy and robust physical constitution;
d. not having been convicted of a crime punishable by a minimum sentence of three years' imprisonment or for smuggling, theft, fraud, embezzlement, receiving stolen goods and other crimes against public faith, unless rehabilitation has occurred;
And. have completed 2 (two) years of navigation on deck duty on merchant and/or military ships, and/or pleasure vessels as defined by the art. 3.1, letter. b) of Legislative Decree 18 July 2005, n. 171. Navigation on military ships carried out in the categories of helmsman, telecommunications and discovery specialist, gunner, weapons technician, diver, raider, administrative and logistics service specialist, port helmsman of
deck specialty, sailor of all qualifications and qualified divers of any category are equivalent to deck navigation on merchant ships. Navigation carried out on larger and smaller vessels, including those used for port services and navigation carried out on vessels used for local traffic and coastal fishing, is considered valid for this competition, regardless of the tonnage of the vessels themselves and the qualification held, subject to provided that the technical equipment on board is arranged in such a way as to allow
carrying out engine and deck duties indifferently.
f. professional title of Chief of Boat for local traffic or higher, provided that he is qualified to command
of the nautical means necessary to carry out the service;
g. registration in the first category of seafarers;
h. category B driving license.
The application for admission to the competition, drawn up on plain paper with clear and legible characters, signed in full by the competitor, compliant with the example template attached to the announcement and accompanied by a photocopy of a valid identity document, must reach the Maritime District Office of Ponza (with headquarters in Via Molo Musco, n°07 – 04027 – Ponza), within the peremptory deadline of 30 (thirty) days from 26 April last (date of publication of the notice of the tender in the Official Gazette 4^ Special Series – Competitions and Exams n. 34 of 04/26/2024), according to the
following modes:
a) by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. The application is considered submitted within the deadlines if sent within the aforementioned thirty days; for this purpose, the date resulting from the date stamp of the accepting post office is valid;
b) directly to the Maritime District Office of Ponza, located in Via Molo Musco, n°07 – 04027 – Ponza no later than 2.00 pm on the last day for submitting applications. In this case, the Office issues the candidate with a receipt certifying the day and time of receipt of the application;
c) by sending the request (pursuant to article 4 paragraph 4 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 6 May 2009) via your PEC (Certified Electronic Mail) mailbox to the following address: cp-ponza@pec.mit.gov.it. In this case the application must be signed according to the methods indicated in article 65 of Legislative Decree 7 March 2005, n. 82. For the purposes of verifying the timeliness of the submission of the application, pursuant to article 6 of the Presidential Decree of 11 February 2005 n. 68, the date of receipt of acceptance of the application.
