Terracina, 1 May 2024 – The operational phase for thefor the construction of the new Sisto Bridge in Terracina after the signing of Memorandum of Understanding signed in the Prefecture. In fact, a meeting was held in the Municipality, at the Public Works Offices, to concretely establish the next steps to be taken to achieve the construction of the structure as quickly as possible, also considering that it was once again reiterated that this is an urgent work . Present for the Municipality were the mayor, Francesco Giannetti, the Director of Public Works Luisa Arcese and the Head of Sector Veronica Soave. Eng. was present for Anas. Marco Moladori, Lazio Territorial Structure Manager, and Eng. Paolo Nardocci, Head of New Works and Design Area.
A technical meeting which was also an opportunity to illustrate the ideas of what the new bridge will be, the structure and the materials to be used, all related to the needs and peculiarities of the area where it will be built. A structure designed for two-way traffic with cycle/pedestrian passage. What will be followed now will be a shared path, with a mixed working group where everyone immediately begins to operate with the tools available.
During the meeting, the head of the Anas Lazio Territorial Structure, Eng. Moladori, underlined once again that the strategic objective of this season is precisely an intervention on the infrastructures of lower Lazio.
“A further step forward for this objective that we immediately set ourselves: that of guaranteeing adequate roads for a strategic road axis of the territory. We are perfectly aware of the many inconveniences for residents, who I once again want to thank for their patience. How I want to thank the Prefect of Latina Maurizio Falco, Anas, the Province of Latina and the Municipality of S. Felice Circeo for their presence and their necessary and concrete support”, declared the mayor of Terracina Francesco Giannetti.
“A commitment that we are carrying out as quickly as possible. As the Prefect Maurizio Falco declared on the day the memorandum of understanding was signed, the project has become 'irrevocable', and we are confident that the work we are carrying out in synergy will allow us to obtain the result we want by the summer of next year. we all hope for the benefit of the entire territory, thanks to the dialogue and constant work of all the bodies involved”, declared the deputy mayor and councilor for Public Works Claudio De Felice.
