For Laurin Ulrich, there doesn't seem to be the opportunity at VfB Stuttgart to play himself into the spotlight with the professionals and thus against Sebastian Hoeneß.
On the one hand, the 19-year-old midfielder has been out too often this season and, on the other hand, there is too much competition among the Swabians for the youngster to be given the prospect of such an opportunity.
Nevertheless, it is clear to both parties, i.e. the player and the club, that Ulrich urgently needs more match practice – above the regional league. There he plays as a generally important regular player with the second team.
The Bild According to him, a loan for the next season is being considered. This plan is apparently not very concrete yet, but the broad aspects and framework conditions of such a loan should already be determined.
The goal is for Ulrich to play as much as possible at as high a level as possible. That's why a year with a second division team that suits his style of play and therefore aims for a playful approach with the ball is seen as the best scenario. Even if such a loan is not yet in prospect, the consensus is that this would be the best step for him at the moment.
