Prime Video today unveiled the trailer for the original German series Maxton Hall – A world between us, which transports audiences into the world of Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James (Damian Hardung). The six-episode series, based on the award-winning novel Save Me by Mona Kasten and produced by UFA Fiction, tells the modern love story between James Beaufort and Ruby Bell, an upper-class boy and a working-class girl in a world full of of glamour, prestige, secrets and drama. Maxton Hall – A World Among Us will be available on May 9 in more than 240 countries and territories around the world as part of the Prime subscription.

About Maxton Hall – A World Between Us
Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten), a scholarship student, becomes a witness to an explosive secret at the private school Maxton Hall. This inconvenience will force James Beaufort (Damian Hardung), a millionaire heir, extremely arrogant, to be forced to deal with her. And for better or worse, James is determined to silence her. What neither of them knows is that their initial tension will transform into an unexpected desire…
Maxton Hall – The World Between Us is directed by Martin Schreier (The Dream Factory) and Tarek Roehlinger (Un état d'urgence). The series is produced by Markus Bunnemann and Valentin Debler, executive produced by Ceylan Yildrim and written by Daphne Ferraro.
The main roles are played by Harriet Herbig-Matten (Bibi & Tina: Einfach Anders) as Ruby and Damian Hardung (How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)) as James. The cast also includes Sonja Weißer (Crime Scene) as Lydia, Ben Felipe (Pagan Peak) as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt (Speak no Evil) as Mortimer, Runa Greiner (Fuck You, Teacher!) as Ember , Justus Riesner (Loving Her) as Alistair Ellington, Clelia Sarto (Herztolpern) as Cordelia Beaufort, Andrea Guo (The Fifth Day) as Lin Wang and Eidin Jalali (The Fifth Day) as Wren Fitzgerald.
