Cerveteri, 10 April 2024 – The supply of water service for irrigation purposes in the hamlet of Cerenova came into regular service last Monday 1 April. This was made known by Francesca Appetiti, Councilor for Environmental Sustainability of the Municipality of Cerveteri.
“Like every year – he adds – in the month of April we opened the water supply for irrigation use, water which I remind all citizens, is absolutely not usable for human consumption, as it is not drinkable and therefore usable only for watering activities own gardens. The service will remain active until September 30th.”
As regards the costs of the service, the Appetiti Councilor specified: “The cost of the service is made up of three items: a flat-rate basic fee within which, in addition to the costs of installing and renting the meter, the supply of a quantity of water equal to 35m3. Then a fee calculated on the basis of any consumption exceeding the basic quantity and finally a fee for the reimbursement of postal costs”.
“Finally, as regards invoicing – concludes Appetiti – during the year 2023 only the fees for the years 2020-2021 were invoiced, by May 2024 the fee for the years 2022-2023 will be invoiced and finally, at the end service for the current year, the 2024 fee and any excess consumption will be invoiced”.
