After the defeats against Borussia Dortmund and 1. FC Heidenheim, there is currently little that gives FC Bayern hope of progressing in the Champions League. With Arsenal FC, perhaps the strongest team in Europe awaits in the quarter-finals, but the record champions have recently been completely off the mark. At least in terms of personnel there is good news before the first leg on Tuesday in London.
After the recently injured Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and Noussair Mazraoui returned to team training on Sunday, the reports now kickerthat at least Neuer and Sane can play against Arsenal. There is still a question mark over Coman's operational fitness, but Mazraoui is reportedly returning to the squad.
Neuer and Sane, who have been sorely missed recently, should promptly return to the starting line-up in London. The kicker also speculates that Coman would also be a candidate for the starting eleven if he is fit in time.
Aleksandar Pavlovic will most likely not be in the squad. The youngster is slowed down by an infection and was unable to train on Sunday. As of now, it can be assumed that Pavlovic will not even make the trip to London on Monday.
