From time to time a video game company surprises us with the announcement that it wanted to bet on bringing one of its works to the realm of the table games. The next to follow this example will be Klei Entertainment after having announced that Don’t Starvehis popular survival indie, will have its own one coming from Glass Cannon Unplugged.
For this it has been announced a crowdfunding campaign in which its creators will seek financing via Kickstarter for the project to move forward. However, at the moment it has not started and it has not been indicated what amount of money it will seek to raise, but at least you can sign up for the alert to be aware of any news that arises.
With the name Don't Starve: The Board Game, in this board game you can join together 1 to 4 players in games that are expected to last approximately between 60 and 90 minutes. The artistic design will try to be identical to that of the video game we already know, with the possibility of choosing the same characters to try to cheat death and find a way to survive no matter what.
To do this, you will have to avoid the fearsome monsters that will inhabit the surroundings while maintaining other already known aspects of the original adventure, such as the players' choices or exploration through its open world by day and night. Additionally, the team behind this project has intention to expand its content even more so through expansions and complements that would arrive later to give more life to the board game.
