Fiumicino, 29 March 2024 – The three students of the Porto Romano and Emilio Segrè Comprehensive Institutes who qualified for the finals of the “Mathematical Games 2024”, scheduled for May 25th at Bocconi University in Milan. At the presentation of the “diplomas” the Mayor Mario Baccini, the General Secretary, Giuseppe Alemanno, the Prime Minister Roberto Severini and the Councilor for Culture, Federica Poggio.

“Rewarding the three students who distinguished themselves in the Mathematical Games, honoring our Municipality in an international competition, demonstrates how much human capital is the measure of growth of the city.” – underlined the Mayor during his speech – I thank the Councillors, the Councillors, the Police Force, the municipal employees, the Associations, the local press and all those who represent the backbone of our city for their presence, without which growth initiatives towards the future would be impossible to achieve. – he continued – On the occasion of Easter I wish all of us that the role of the person and respect for human rights become essential values for all the peoples of the world.”
