Fiumicino, 29 March 2024 – A decision has been issued by the Environment Area forr implement the surveillance service at the “Parco Tommaso Forti”. After the occurrence of frequent vandalism within the area and in particular in the toilets, the Administration deemed it essential to add a daily daytime care service (from 8:00 to 20:00).
“From April 1st “Tommaso Forti” Park will have a new internal management service which seein addition to the opening/closing of the gates and cleaning of the bathrooms– underlined the councilor for the environment, Stefano Costa.- I thank the cooperatives who until today have worked with dedication to ensure that the park was the meeting place for the new generations of Fiumicino. In recent times the park has been targeted by vandals who have destroyed the bathrooms, the masonry works and caused damage to the stage, putting its usability at risk.
It was therefore decided to strengthen the service through daily monitoringr restore decorum to the park dedicated to children and young people in the hope that pone day they will be the true custodians of the common spaces“, concluded the Councilor.
