The study Extremely OK Games has left us with a mixed bag with the latest statement it made through its official website. For the past few years she has been working non-stop on a new project called Earthblade, which was supposed to be released sometime in 2024, but the bad news is that it won't be.
The creators of the award-winning Celeste wanted to offer an update on the status of the title, which has led them to affirm that there is still too much work ahead, hence the need to wait until next year at the earliest, to get to see it in stores. However, the good news behind all this is that at least they have assured that their development is on the right track.
At the moment they have not been able to provide a more approximate release date, although at least they have been able to reveal a new signing that has joined the team, such as the designer Kyle Pulverwho also happens to be the world champion of the TowerFall video game, which is another of the greatest works developed by Extremely OK Games.
From what we know of Earthblade, the protagonist will be Névoa, an enigmatic daughter of Destiny who has returned to Earth. Her journey through a ruined world will lead her to encounter allies and enemies as she rebuilds the world in a new way. action and platform adventure along with a good touch of exploration, combats that promise to be very challenging and mysteries that must be solved.
