Russian raid on Kiev, the house of an employee at the Italian embassy destroyed
The war continues Ukraine, and no one – but no one – is safe. During the Russian missile attacks on Kiev last night it was indeed the home, fortunately empty, of a local employee of the Italian embassy was destroyed, a Ukrainian citizen who also acquired Italian citizenship. According to Farnesina sources, the employee and his family are safe and sound; they will be accommodated for a couple of days in a hotel and then move to a guesthouse at the embassy before finding better accommodation.
Tajani calls the embassy employee: “Outraged by the raid”
From Brussels, where Foreign Minister Antonio is on a mission to participate in an international summit Tajani telephoned the Ukrainian-Italian employee of the Italian embassy whose home was destroyed last night during a Russian missile attack. “I expressed my solidarity to him, and also my indignation for these continuous attacks against the capital of Ukraine, against civilian targets. A shame that must stop as soon as possible”, said Tajani according to Farnesina sources
