The police chased a passenger car on the A1 near De Lutte. During the pursuit, the vehicle left the road and came to a stop on the shoulder. The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. It is not yet known why the driver fled from the police and how long the chase lasted. The severely damaged vehicle was towed by a recovery company.
