“With this great development we are working towards making the region more sustainable. Twence has heat available to switch more than 100,000 households off gas,” says Marc Kapteijn, general manager of Twence. “We would like to use this as efficiently as possible, together with our shareholding municipalities. The RWT is a promising option here. We are gradually working on developing this. But we still have to fulfill various preconditions before the actual construction can be realized. Consider, for example, the choice of technology and financial decision-making. We do all this in close cooperation with the shareholders.”
