Xbox is still working to improve its relationship with Square Enix, as it wants to prevent important releases from the studio from being left out of its consoles. Apparently, things are going in the right direction, as Square Enix announced at Tokyo Game Show 2023 that one of its popular JRPGs will finally arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC through the Microsoft store.

During the Japanese event, Xbox and Square Enix announced that Octopath Traveler II is finally coming to Xbox Series
Additionally, the game can also be enjoyed on PC through the Microsoft store. In case you don’t remember, the title was released in February of this year for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Steam.
Although its first installment arrived on Xbox and could be enjoyed on Game Pass, the sequel has been absent from the brand’s ecosystem all these months. So, the announcement of Tokyo Game Show 2023 is great news.
