The new BMW R 1300 GS 2024, one of the most anticipated bikes of recent years, it was supposed to be presented on September 28th… but here’s someone he let the photos slip!
What immediately catches the eye is a great restyling of the aesthetics, which sports more sinuous and more modern lines, which however maintain the GS character, with its long front “beak”. Staying on the subject of design, we also notice changes to the headlight, characterized by a large central LED element, and to the hand guards, which now include the direction indicators. The front should also accommodate radar, a millimeter wave device which would allow the R 1300 GS to have technologically advanced safety systems, such as adaptive cruise control. Similar speech for the rear, where it should find a place the second radar, positioned between the license plate and the tail: this second device will be used to warn the driver, with an LED integrated in the rear-view mirror, that a vehicle is approaching and is near the blind spot.
In the photos he shows us we see the GS with both spoked rims and with spoked rims. This leaves us to hypothesize that the new R 1300 GS will also be presented in two versions: the “standard” and the Adventure.
