In case anyone doesn’t remember, Captain Marvel is still one of the most powerful in the MCU and The Marvels movies will prove it.
Marvel Studios has just released a new international television spot for The Marvels, also known as Captain Marvel 2. This trailer takes us back to the events surrounding Carol Danvers in her first solo adventure and her notable appearance in Avengers: Endgame (2019), reminding us how powerful this cosmic superhero is.
The ad begins with scenes from Avengers: Endgame, where Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson, proved herself by going head-to-head with the Mad Titan, Thanos (Josh Brolin). This sequence gives us an idea of the impressive power of the superheroine. However, in The Marvels, she will face a new formidable and personal villain.
Fortunately, she will not be alone in this fight.
The trailer also features Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris, and Kamala Khan, known as Ms. Marvel and portrayed by Iman Vellani. Both characters will have an important role in the film and will contribute to the exciting story.

The film’s director, Nia DaCosta, revealed in a recent interview that she initially had some doubts before taking on the project and sought advice from other Marvel movie directors. However, she soon realized that she was in good hands and that working in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a unique experience.
In The Marvels, the plot follows Carol Danvers, who has reclaimed her identity and taken on the Kree Supreme Intelligence. However, her actions trigger unexpected consequences that affect the universe. She, along with Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau, an unlikely trio of heroines, must join forces and learn to work together to save the universe.
The film also stars Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon, with Nia DaCosta directing and Kevin Feige producing. The Marvels promises an exciting adventure full of action, humor and epic moments in the vast Marvel Cinematic Universe.
