The Pokémon franchise can boast of being one of the most popular in the world of video games even many years after its creation. Due to the great success that the saga has had both in its console titles and in its anime version, many fans have illustrated its protagonists through fan arts in a wide variety of styles.
On this occasion we have decided to share with you a new illustration that leads to several of the most famous characters from the Pokémon anime in a style very close to some of Disney’s most recent animated series and we can assure you that the sympathy that Disney exudes is present in these versions of Ash and company.

These characters from the Pokémon anime have received these striking versions thanks to the talent of Ciana Maia cartoonist who works at the Disney company designing characters and who likes to share several of the works she does on some of her social networks:

A simple glance at the fan art helps us easily identify these characters despite the many differences they present in their aesthetics. Without going any further, Mai has modified part of the mythical clothing of each character and has not hesitated to caricature them much more. changing body proportions of each one of them in order to give a more personal touch to their work.
What Mai’s art has not decided to move away from has been in the choice of colors: in them we continue to see the colors that characterize each character. The same happens with the body language and facial expressiveness of all of them, completely recognizable and without forgetting the contrast between the opposite personalities of Jessie and James. Without a doubt, a different way of seeing these characters that we Pokémon anime fans know so well.
Pokémon fired the veteran Ash character after starring a large number of chapters and made way for Pokémon Horizons. In this new series the leading role is shared between Liko and Rod, two young trainers who will live adventures throughout the Paldea region, the main setting of the video games. Pokémon Scarlet and Purple.
