Brabus presents the nuova 1300 R Masterpiece Edition 2024. Set up on the KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO base, the new bike is offered in two color variants “Onyx Black” and “Diamond White”, each made in 25 copies. Compared to the previous limited editions, the new 1300 R ME boasts a even more extensive carbon accessory packagewhich includes the fins attached to the side shrouds, the single-sided swingarm cover, the triangular panels on the frame under the tank and seat, and the alternator cover cover.
We then find new 17” 9-spoke Brabus Monoblock Z “Gold Platinum” forged wheels (made specifically for this model) with polished sections, decorative rings around the two silencers of the exhaust system, the “1 OF 25” badge on the tank and the Brabus Masterpiece plate in the lumbar support behind the seat. The gold-coloured finish with diamond-lapped sections of the rims can then be found in other details of the bike, such as the contrasting elements in “Frozen Gold”, the Brabus Masterpiece license plates, the fins located on the side panels on the sides of the tank, the ‘ Signature Stripe’ front and rear and the rings around the two silencers of the Brabus slip-on exhaust system. The name of this model is laser engraved on the two silencers.
The technical basis remains that of the KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO, with its 1,300 cc LC8 engine 180 CV a 9.500 giri/min. e 140 Nm a 8.000 giri/min. set in a trellis frame painted in matte black. We then find WP semi-active suspensions and customized TFT instruments with Brabus graphics.
Depending on the chosen color variant, the tank, the tail shell and parts of the front fender are painted in “Onyx Black” or “Diamond White.” For both color variants, the Brabus upholstery workshop took care of covering the single-seater saddle with black leather, and then applied the “Diamond Rising” quilting.
