New Report Reveals Original Plan for Willem Dafoe’s Character in Aquaman 2
The director of Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, James Wanrecently commented that Willem Dafoe I wouldn’t come back like Nuidis Vulko for the second part of the popular superhero DC Universe. Now, a new report has revealed what the original plan was for Dafoe’s character.
Vulko’s fate in Aquaman 2
The report comes from MyTimeToShineHello, who claims that the character had a sad fate. The insider shared the following: “In the original version of Aquaman 2 there was a whole subplot about a rapidly advancing virus in Atlantis and that’s what killed Vulko off-screen. But I heard that in the most recent cut they screened they removed any mention of this and him.”

If the aforementioned idea were part of the final cut, Vulko would end his journey through the DC Universe in an undignified manner. For this reason, it is quite likely that they ended up scrapping the original plan for the character.
Aquaman 2 opens in theaters on December 22.
