EA SPORTS FC 24 is about to debut to usher in a new era of soccer in video games. Sadly, its debut came accompanied by bad news and that is that past installments of EA SPORTS FIFA disappeared from digital stores. What does this mean for those who play FIFA 23 through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? Will it also disappear?
At the time of writing, FIFA 23 is no longer for sale in Xbox digital stores or any other platform. However, the soccer game can still be downloaded and played through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, a subscription service that includes access to the benefits of EA Play.

This means that if you are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, you can continue playing FIFA 23 even if it is not in your digital game library. It is worth mentioning that you can access the game by installing it on your console or through Xbox Cloud Gaming.

How long will FIFA 23 stay on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate?
It’s good news for all Xbox Game Pass users; However, they must keep something very important in mind: FIFA 23 will not remain on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate forever. As has happened with previous installments, the game will leave the service sooner or later.
But when will it happen? Normally each installment of FIFA disappears from the service when the next one arrives. However, the reality is that things could be different this time.
We say this since several FIFA deliveries disappeared from digital stores; probably due to licensing issues. Recall that the franchise changed its name after EA and FIFA failed to reach an agreement to renew their licensing agreement.
