Nayuta Studio announced that the horror title set in 1980s Japan, Hollow Cocoonit will come up Steam in December (precise day not yet specified). Additionally, one will be available demo from October 9th. At the bottom of the news you can see the teaser trailer.

It’s a first-person horror adventure set in 1980s Japan.
Step into the shoes of Minato Jinba, a university student who returns to his mother’s hometown after receiving news that his grandmother is in critical condition. Hide from the monster and collect vital evidence to reveal the chilling truth that lies beneath the surface!

Minato Jinba, a university student, lives far from his parents in a boarding house in the city.
One evening, Minato receives distressing news from his father, Eiji. Minato’s maternal grandmother, Kinu Miyama, is in critical condition.
Minato sets off to Ichinose, a village lost in the mountains, where his mother was born.
Minato has not seen his grandmother in over ten years and harbors a deep resentment towards her. She had refused to even attend her daughter’s funeral, further intensifying Minato’s contempt.
As the bus crosses the country road, Minato remembers his one conversation with his grandmother.
“The problem with silkworms, you know, is that even if they could leave their cocoons, they don’t have mouths to eat and their wings don’t fly. They simply lay eggs and die.”
