Suara.com – Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Kylian Mbappe suffered an injury during his team’s landslide victory over Marseille in the 2023-2024 French Ligue 1, Monday (25/9/2023) early morning WIB.
PSG managed to beat Marseille with a score of 4-0 at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris. Their goals were scored by Achraf Hakimi (8′), Randal Kolo Muani (37′) and Gonaco Ramos (47′, 89′).
Unfortunately, this victory came at a heavy price as their mainstay striker, Kylian Mbappe, had to be pulled off the field due to a suspected ankle injury.
The French national team striker tried to continue his performance on the field after receiving a foul from Leonardo Balerdi. However, he was eventually withdrawn before the break.

Mbappe is now doubtful about appearing when the French League champions play the 2023-2024 Champions League away match against Newcastle United on October 4.
This victory makes PSG temporarily occupy third place in the 2023-2024 French League standings with a collection of 11 points from six matches.
They are two points behind Brest at the top of the standings and one point behind Nice who are in second place.
Meanwhile for Marseille, this defeat means they are temporarily stuck in seventh place in the standings with a collection of 9 points from six matches.
