This time, the information focuses on a supposed launch game for this platform. It would be Far Cry 7: Necrolipe, head of Universo Nintendo, has shared this blunt statement on X (formerly Twitter), ensuring that this Ubisoft game will be a launch title on Nintendo Switch 2.

In relation to the game itself, Insider Gaming states that Ubisoft is already preparing Far Cry 7also known internally as Project Blackbird, scheduled for release for autumn 2025. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the game, which will not use the Dunia engine but Snowdrop, will feature a non-linear story focused on rescuing a family kidnapped by a group called ‘Sons of Truth’. With a game timer of 72 hours, the title will allow family members to be rescued in any order, and their fates will affect the narrative. In addition, it introduces an interrogation mechanism to obtain information from enemies, according to the source.
As for the Switch successor console rumors, VGC offered more details on the date, handheld mode, cartridges, and more. Then the president of Nintendo spoke about it.
