The Marvel Studios series for Disney + starring ECHO will have fewer episodes than expected
There are plenty of characters around which Marvel Studios could develop a TV series for Disney+, but the decision to move forward with Echo has fans wondering why Maya Lopez was made a priority.
Alaqua Cox was undeniably fantastic in Hawkeye; However, there was nothing in that series that suggested Echo needed to have her own solo adventures. Unless she serves to set the stage for Daredevil: Born Again.
Fans don’t seem very interested in ECHO, which possibly explains Marvel Studios’ plan to release all episodes simultaneously on Disney +, a type of premiere that is not common for the platform when it comes to MCU premieres.
It will have fewer episodes than initially announced
Although obviously not confirmed, the prevailing view is that this approach suggests there are concerns about maintaining interest in Echo on a weekly basis. While it was previously known that the series would consist of six episodes, a reliable source now claims that it has been cut down to five.
Because? Well, it seems those claims about problems with the series were correct and an entire episode was scrapped due to “pacing issues.”
