KIEV – Storm Shadow missiles are used by Ukraine to attack the headquarters of the Black Sea fleet Russia . This was revealed by the Ukrainian Air Force to Sky News, Saturday (23/9/2023).
A Russian soldier remains missing after an attack that left a building in Sevastopol on fire.
At least one missile hit the headquarters, and Russian officials reported that five other missiles were shot down.
The decision to supply British and French-made missiles, also known as SCALP, is one of the most prominent war cries from Western countries – with concerns that the long-range weapons could be used on Russian territory.
Britain and France agreed to supply the missiles in May and July respectively this year.
It was previously reported that the Russian-appointed governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said Ukraine had launched a missile attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea.
“The enemy launched a missile attack on the fleet headquarters,” Razvozhayev said via Telegram.
Razvozhayev also said that shrapnel fell near the Lunacharsky Theater.
The Russian-appointed governor said operational services had gone to the site of the attack and said information about casualties was being clarified.
