The Armenian community in Almelo is shocked by Azerbaijan’s attacks on the Nagorno-Karabakh region last week. The region is internationally regarded as Azerbaijani territory, but is inhabited by Armenians. Onik Gelici, president of the Armenian Apostolic Church, speaks of great sadness in the Armenian community. The church is organizing a bus trip to Brussels next week, where a demonstration against developments in the region will be held.
