The universe of The Walking Dead is expanding more and more, this comes with the arrival of the spin off of one of the most beloved characters in the series: Daryl Dixon. After delighting us with the new adventures of Maggie and Negan in The Walking Dead: Dead City, now it is Daryl’s turn to explore places not seen before in the franchise, more specifically… France. Yes, zombies are moving to Europe.
And there are not only the zombies that we already know, but also we have variations that we have not seen before. We don’t mean that there are enemies with more speed, strength or intelligence… But rather We are facing a variation that could change the way we fight completely. Or at least, it will make our protagonist think twice before engaging in hand-to-hand combat with this new species.

If you remember the series, it is common for our protagonists to end up soaked in the blood of the zombies after stabbing them or beating them until they are finished. That thing about the face ending up bloody is over, at least with these.
In addition to facing this new type of enemy, we also know why we haven’t seen them until now. The virus originated in France and this special kind of zombie was first found in a food processing plant. Perhaps the chemicals found in the factory have managed to mutate them over the years. This theory is the most plausible, since In The Walking Dead: World Beyond, one of the characters says that the French scientists made things even worse.
