BAGHDAD – A large fire at a wedding celebration killed more than 100 people and injured at least 150 in Nineveh Province, Iraq.
The fire on Tuesday night (26/9/2023) is believed to have been caused by fireworks.

1. The Wedding Takes Place at the Wedding Party

According to Al Jazeera, a fire broke out at a wedding party in an event hall in Nineveh Province, northern Iraq.
The fire broke out at around 22:45 local time on Tuesday.
Hundreds of people were killed or injured, and the injured were hospitalized across the country.
Iraqi authorities have ordered an investigation into the fire.
