Apple has informed its suppliers that they are preparing between 84 and 89 million units of their new iPhone 15 for this year, figures that are unattainable for Samsung premiums.
Samsung It has taken itself very seriously to try to be the most important premium mobile seller in the world, and for this it has proposed that, within five years, Overtake Apple in High-Value Device Sales.
This has been pointed out TM Rohresponsible for Samsung’s Mobile Experience at a recent press conference in Seoul who did not hesitate to state that they have set a five-year period of time to catch up with Apple in the distribution of high-end mobile phones, and that thanks to the sales estimates for folding mobiles.
He has shared sales data, stating that Samsung’s foldable phones are increasingly selling much more and representing a greater market share for the company.
He noted that they plan for one in three premium Galaxy phones sold in South Korea this year to be foldable.
Samsung is not going to have it easy in its purposes, given that Apple has informed its suppliers that they are preparing between 84 and 89 million units of their new iPhone 15 for this year, while sales of the Galaxy S23 have not yet reached not even half of the distribution goal of the iPhone 15.
One of the advantages that the iPhone has over any other phone is its operating system created in the image and likeness, something that, for example, Samsung does not have, which must rely on Google’s Android.
Samsung is also facing a folding market in which the prices for the sale of the devices are not exactly cheap, surpassing the prices of the iPhone.
Even though Samsung sells more mobile devices than Apple throughout the year it is for a combination of entry, medium and high range, but now they have proposed to sell the same as Apple in the high range, and they have given themselves a period of five years.
