After a long period of Early Access lasted more than three years, the release of the full version of World of Horror is finally around the corner. The adventure that is inspired by the works of Junji Ito and HP Lovecraft in fact, it will be available in a few months not only on PC, but also on some consoles. The announcement came during the last broadcast of the Guerrilla Collective, where the new trailer that we offer below was shown.
This is the official synopsis: “The Old Gods are awakening, making their way into a world that is falling into madness. In hospitals, abandoned classrooms, silent apartments and dark forests, strange apparitions and unexplained phenomena test the sanity of the residents of Shiokawa, Japan. Is it chaotic punishment or the machinations of beings beyond our understanding?”
The aim of the game is to solve this mystery before it’s too late and the world consumed by madness as you explore the Japanese town, engage in turn-based combat, and make ruthless choices in hopes of thwarting the gods’ plan.
World of Horror will be available from October 19 on PC, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
