Many have been the actors and actresses who marked a before and after in the cinema of the 80s, but if we had to choose someone who was especially important for the industry at that time, many of us would undoubtedly choose Harrison Ford.
The legendary American actor was one of the great protagonists of that decade due, in part, to two of the roles that have marked him for life: Indiana Jones and Han Solo. Both characters have been very important to commercial cinema and, as expected, many fans of the archaeologist and the bounty hunter have dreamed of seeing them somehow together in the same scene.
However, many others have also asked the million dollar question since both appeared on the big screen: In a fight to the death between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, Who would win? After several years, the actor who plays these two characters has finally given an “answer” through an interview with Esquire.
“Usually they ask me: ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who the hell would win?’ And I always say: ‘Me, asshole!’ I don’t want to make that shit up. I mean, why are you asking me that bullshit?”
Only Harrison Ford would come up with such an answer; and to tell the truth, it is one that fits perfectly with the personality of both individuals. Both Jones and Solo are characters that give off a unique personality, and while it is true that many would like to know the outcome of this duel, Ford knows full well that both are good at everything and neither is above the other. Don’t compare them, enjoy them.
