Many indies have been announced in the last few hours. Thanks to Devolver Digital and other independent publishers, games like Baby Steps, Crypt Custodian or Coocon have stood out positively.
June has arrived and the month that usually leaves us with lots of announcements has already begun fulfilling in the matter of indies. The Summer Game Fest has been followed by conferences such as Devolver Digital or various announcements that have focused the spotlight on indie games.
Since there have been a few who have presented or offered new details, here we are going to leave you a small compilation with trailers and details for you to have on file to the most interesting. Let’s go with a good portion of indies!
Crypt Custodian
Crypt Custodian it’s a Metroidvania announced for PC to arrive in 2024 and that seeks to intermix elements of this genre with Zelda touches. Here you will play as Pluto, a mischievous cat who has just died and landed in the palace of the afterlife.
However, here you will be punished to clean forever. An adventure awaits you where backtracking exploration, combat and playable customization will be the order of the day. What do you think?
Baby Steps
Probably the most surreal game of the night. Baby Steps has been revealed as a title for PS5 and PC from the creators of Ape Out that puts us in the feet of an unemployed person learning to… walk.
Plain and simple, because this Baby Steps is a manual walking simulator, literally. And it is that here we are going to have to learn to walk if we want to explore the world that is out there. It will be released in 2024.
Human Fall Flat 2
No confirmed platforms or date, Human Fall Flat 2 is the sequel to the platform and puzzle game that already managed to win the attention of a few players in the past thanks to its unique features.
Devolver Digital has commented that “each intricate level comes packed with new toys and gadgets to play with as you solve a series of mind-bending puzzles by yourself or in teams of up to eight friends.”
Cocoon
The result of the designer of Inside and Limbo, Cocoon promises a lot for fans of two of the greatest exponents of the indie world. The game will also be released on PS5 and PS4 apart from the already confirmed Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
And many more on the way. By Return Digital details of The Talos Principle 2 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X that arrives in 2023 to offer us a post-apocalyptic science fiction story.
