Valentino Rossi, bittersweet debut at Le Mans
Bittersweet debut of Valentino Rossi on the Sarthe circuit in Le Mans, where the prestigious 24 Hours is scheduled for the weekend. The Doctor, who participates in the Road to Le Mans, started from the second position in race-1 at the wheel of the BMW M4 of Team WRT.
A series of off-piste prototypes dropped him to sixth place, but the former MotoGP champion finished his stint in second place with a series of overtakings, before handing over the wheel to his teammate Policand. However, the French driver compromised everything with a spin, and the pair finished in the end only in fifteenth position. Race-2 is scheduled for Friday.
