The project comes to life in 2021 with a feasibility study, verifying how to allocate the volumes on the vehicle without compromising safety and driveability. It starts in the modeling department, combining engineering and style in a clay (a clay model), for ergonomic verification and the achievement of the theoretical volume required for the company. We proceed with the construction of a fiberglass proto tank for the first vehicle dynamic validation and fuel consumption tests through an Endurance Test. In September 2022 the construction of the rotational mold begins, made in CNC from aluminum blocks and in January 2023 it is printed the largest motorcycle tank ever built that can be produced in series, with a capacity of 108 litres.
This means that Acerbis has approved the tank and will put it on sale soon. The price will be just over 1,000 euros.
The mission will start on June 10th next the motorcycle with a larger tank will leave towards the North Cape, following an exciting route specially designed. Once there, the journey will not be over, but will continue until the last drop of petrol.
