The meeting point of the event for all motorcyclists is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 10 June 2023, at the Rome fair on the occasion of the RideOn Motodays. The participants will meet at 9.30 at the east entrance, to then change into the clothes of the ancient Romans and be ready to leave by 10 in the direction of the Circus Maximus. The choice to wear these garments derives from the fact that at the time the Roman citizen was listened to, while today the administrations deal in an even too bland way with fundamental issues such as that of road safety. Failure to maintain the roads has become a crime, but this was not enough to avoid the tragic death of Elena Aubry, who died last May 2018 when she was riding her scooter along a stretch of road in Ostiense, uprooted by the roots of the trees .
At 17.30 then, inside the fair there will be a talk show held by Elena’s mother, Graziella Viviano, in which the issue of road safety will be discussed, with the presence of Minister Matteo Salvini and Councilor Patanè in connection.
