The Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) suspended the listing of TV Aztecaof the businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego, due to a breach in the delivery of the company’s financial information.
“The suspension of the listing referred to in this notice may last as long as the issuer does not disclose the missing information, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable provisions,” indicated the BMV in a statement.
He explained that on April 28 and May 2 of the current year, he received the late notice for the delivery of the quarterly financial information referred to in Article 33, section II of the general provisions applicable to securities issuers. and to other securities market participants issued by the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), corresponding to the first quarter of 2023, by TV Azteca.
“Once the extemporaneity period provided for in Article 45 of the aforementioned provisions has elapsed, without the issuer submitting the aforementioned quarterly information, this Stock Exchange in compliance with the provisions of Article 248, section I of the Stock Market Law Securities, suspends, as of today, June 1, 2023, the listing of the representative securities of TV Azteca,” he added.
